July Currently

Hi y'all! I'm linking up with Farley for my first currently! I don't know where June went, but apparently it is already July. I love reading these every month and I am excited to be participating!

This week has been crazy, y'all! My four kids went to Virginia to spend some time with their dad this summer. I have no clue how long they will be there, a few weeks or until they cry for me. I know they are having fun, but I can't help but be a little worried! #singlemomproblems

My plan was to get my blog and TpT store up and running to keep me busy. I have a dozen projects in the works to finish and upload, including a bunch of freebies for you. I'm also working on finishing up some course work for my summer class. Plus, there are tons of things that need fixing around the house and I HAVE to purge all the kids' old clothes, toys, and crap they accumulate get it cleaned out while they are gone! Somewhere in there, I will meet up with my girls for margaritas! Girl time is the best!

I had big plans for the week. Mighty awesome plans. So, you know what happened...

1.) I lost my driver's license. Of course I have to go in person to replace it, an online option would be too easy. I'm not looking forward to the several hours long wait in the DMV and darn it, I really liked that picture!

2.) The blinkers in my van stopped working. There is an electrical issue. An expensive electrical issue. My van is an old, beat up, hunk of junk paid off and must last me until I'm done with my masters. I really can't be pouring money that I don't have into an old clunker, so I'm wondering how long I can drive it before I get a ticket for not using my blinker... Kind of funny, since I yell at everyone in front of me that doesn't use theirs. Now I'm the idiot that needs to learn how to use a blinker! Please don't honk at me. I'll get it fixed. One day. No license, no blinker, I'm a mess.

3.) The AC in my house stopped working. I live in Texas, y'all! Imagine Texas in July! When it rains, it pours. My last name might as well be Murphy. The AC guy is in the attic. I'm praying for a quick and cheap fix.

I'm so very thankful that I can get all this handled while the kids are away!!! It might take me a little longer than I planned to finish everything up, but it will get done eventually. That's life!
